Even my low pressure (electric) power washer (Karcher) folded the delicate fins on my window unit A/C in the garage. If you have the adjustable fan to zero tip you MIGHT be able to hit them with a low pressure washer adjusted to a wide fan spray, but I'd still be very careful.
That reminds me, I need to pull out my fin comb and straighten those fins.
For my 3.5 ton central A/C, I simply use a garden hose as the A/C repairman suggested.
