I recently (2 weeks ago) moved into my 1886 1600sq/ft two story farm house. Since I haven't been there long, I have no idea what kind of energy useage I'm looking at yet. However, I already have a slew of ideas that I'm trying to figure out and prioritize so I can start doing stuff. The previous owners had a year round average of a $280 utility bill, but they had 6-8 people living in the house. Right now its just me and my wife. But, in a few months though, I will be having my cousin and his family move in (wife and three small kids) so there will be 7 of us there.
Pictures to come soon. I get internet at home today, yay! (Support EcoRenovator.org & get rid of these annoying ads!)

The house looks great and the garage looks awesome. Plenty of room for a shop.

Here are some more pics I took recently. I'll try to explain what is what. I also drew up a floor plan so you can know what the layout is like.
![]() The main entrance off the porch by the garage. ![]() Straight into the downstairs bathroom. ![]() Take a left at the entrance into the kitchen (by the oven is the entrance). ![]() ![]() The living room. ![]() The sunroom. ![]() Immediately to the right are the stairs. ![]() Master bedroom (all the bedrooms are on the small side). ![]() Across from that is another bedroom. ![]() Next to that is another bedroom. ![]() And across another bedroom. ![]() Ok, ran out of bedrooms, now here is the upstairs bath. ![]() ![]() Here are some pics of the yard. I'm kinda standing behind the house and rotate counter-clockwise. ![]() They left us the huge trampoline. ![]() ![]() And finally aerial shots courtesy of maps.live.com. This shot is looking westward. ![]() This shot is looking eastward. ![]()

Looks like a great piece of property you have there Daox. The inside of the house looks like it's had a lot of renovating recently, did the previous owners update everything, or did you? How much acreage do you have out there? I love the look of the house as well. Defiantly looks very relaxed. The patio looks like the perfect place to hang out on a summer evening and enjoy a cup of iced tea while the kids are playing in the yard
