GSHP Controller Failed

I have a Chinese DC inverter GSHP that has been great for 10 years. The supplier no longer has parts for it. The display/controller has failed and so will not run. Otherwise it is all OK. I really don't want to have to junk it and replace it.
I see on Github there is a GSHP controller (Valden)...but I am not sure how/if that could control a DC inverter compressor.
Does anyone have any ideas? I am willing to spend a bit of money if I have to.

The newer Asian units are not that much different from each other as far as the moving parts. The main difference is the control and compressor drive circuits. A lot of units have modules that talk to each other using a serial interface. Proprietary control codes and error checks and such, everything has to have a good address and speak the same language, or the thing won't work.

If factory parts are no longer available, there are shops that can test and fix your OEM boards for a price. Not cheap, but it's plug and play-ish. Otherwise, you want to try to cross the important parts (compressor, sensors, electronic valves, etc.) to different brands that use the same guts and do a transplant.
