Nope. I like the bright white bulbs better anyway. Not quite as yellow as the soft white.

I believe they had the cfl bulbs in soft white, $1 for a box of 4. 2700K color temperature.

With these new (cfl and led) bulbs, you really need to observe the lights operating. The color temperature doesn't mean as much as with incandescent and halogen lights. Lights with the same color temperature definitely do not emit the same spectrum of light, especially between brands.
