Default More extra cold nights ahead..

Our Sanyo ASHP heaters started resetting this morning, when it got too cold for them.
They have been hacked to draw a max of 10A (2.5kW) before the power shuts off.

That Accuweather forecast predicted it would stay above 10.0 °F all night.
My wife heard at least one reset 6:28am. It was 6.0°F at 7:13am.

I know these things don't work very well below 10.0°F,
and use a LOT of power at those temps. Hence the 10A shut-down.
At midnight, I checked and the temperature seemed to be going up.
Slept late and never noticed any shutdowns or chilliness.

So, temperatures in the single digits seem to be more common now..
My fix, is a software temperature alarm set for 12°F.

When the outdoor temperature is less than 12°F, the CAI will send a signal
to the X-10 in the living-room. The X10 will supply 12VDC to a back-up-alarm.
The alert is a nice Asian lady, saying "Attention please, this car is backing up"..
